(More customer reviews)I wanted a cost-effective way to turn off my battery power to my RV, and this seemed to fit the bill. I especially liked the fact that it has a weather cover when the key is not inserted, and when it was, the boot also kept the weather out.
Well I drilled the necessary holes in the battery box cover and made the installation, hooking up the battery leads last and then installing the cover back onto the battery box. That was it! Works beautifully. I put a keep string to tie the key on to the RV when it is being used, as I don't want to risk losing the key.
