(More customer reviews)I can't rave enough about this cart and no, I have nothing to do with the company. First I thought I would buy an electric cart to use. But they are heavy and I would have to recharge them every time I used it. However, I use a tour bag, which is very large. Not that I was ever on tour, I'm not quite that good. I just like it.
Anyways, regular carts are really too small for a tour bag. Also, pulling a cart is so much easier on my back than pulling it so I would need a new three wheel version.
That left me looking for a Sun Mountain or alike, the new 3 wheel push versions. But they were heavy too. Also, I really dislike having my bag on an angle like the 3 wheelers put them on. You have to walk to the front of the cart to get it and it is a pain to angle them in when talking them out and angling them back when you put them back. Not only that, but the pockets one front of the cart are inaccessible.
That left me with one option, or so I though, the new 4 wheel Sun Mountain. But the handle was small, the cart was heavy, and it was expensive. Not only that, my beautiful tour bag would still be at an angle when attached to it and would miss out on all the gawking from spectators.
Don't ask me how, but I stumbled upon this cart. Although I couldn't find too many reviews online, the ones I found were very favorable. Plus, I could return it within 30 days - which I have no reservations about doing if things don't meet my standards (sans my wife and kids).
But no worries, I will never return this cart. It rolls beautifully and works great. It folds down into a small little package I put in my 300zx turbo hatchback. If I want, the wheels pop right off. It is really light, 12 pounds, and I can pop the wheels off in a jiffy if I really want to. Folding it down and up takes a few seconds. Pull a handle and lift, then tighten the height adjustable bar to where you want it. The bar is foam pakded and comfortable with a thermos holder, ball holder, and secret plastic compartment underneath. You can even order an an umbrella holder for it. It also has a handheld brake on the bar for parking on hills.
It rolls beautifully with its ball bearing wheels. One thing I was worried about is whether the cart would be stable on hilly terrain, lest my beautiful tour bag take a tumble. But it has never happened. The wheelbase on the cart is nice and long and wide and keeps the bag steady. Also, unlike the 3 wheelers, the bottom of the bag sits low to the ground so the center of gravity stays as low as possible.
Taking out and putting back clubs is really the great part. No more walking around to the front to have to angle onee out. I can do it from any side of the cart as the bag is perfectly upright. I can also access the front of my tour bag when I need to take out my rain jacket (sorry, but I had to buy a Zero Restriction one as it was on sale and I couldn't shame my tour bag with an inferior qualifty).
My tour bag, and another ordinary cart bag I sometimes use when my tour bag doesn't want to go outside to play because it is raining, sit proudly in this cart. Everyone at the course asks me about the cart and they can't believe it is so light and easy to push.
It looks so good and so many people ask me about it, I'm afraid I will have to update to a real caddy soon. Before that though, this one does the job perfectly and doesn't expect 20% of my earnings. I wish my wife would feel the same.
