It's not just for the rain. It decreases the wind chill factor immensely. It is so easy to put up and take down. It has excellent memory for the folding creases so it stores easily in any bag. I also use one to create a "rain flap" over the clubs on the back ov the cart. It's much better than those umbrellas you stick in your bag.
