(More customer reviews)We bought this scooter for my 11 year old son after buying a less powerful electric scooter by Razor for my younger son. This scooter is indeed faster and more powerful and it does move my 100lb 11 year old quite a bit faster than the Razor did, so the extra power of the 500 watt engine does move the increased weight well. My only complaint is that it is very low to the ground and the wheels are plastic. I'm sure it was built this way to avoid the possibility of rolling over, but it can cause problems if there are any bumps in the road. The Razor that my younger son has is higher off the ground and has bigger rubber wheels. As a result, with the lower/smaller wheels, the Scooter X can only be driven on the flatest parts of our driveway or it scrapes on the bottom. Also, we had some mechanical issues with wiring after it arrived. But, the dealer promptly responded to the issues and provided a very simple to fix replacement part. They were very good about explaining everything.
